This week’s theme is Learning from the Pros. Learn More Electrical Safety Month May 2024 The non-profit organization Electrical Safety Foundation leads an annual campaign every May to educate important audiences about preventing electrically-related fires, injuries, loss of life and property damage. The OSU Environmental Health and Safety Department consists of four teams - Environmental Compliance, Fire and Life Safety, Laboratory Safety, and Occupational and Construction Safety. Our primary goal is to promote health, safety, and environmental protection by providing exemplary programs and services in support of the university’s mission. Meet the team Student Employee Feature Jonathan Medellin Meet Jonathan Medellin, the student employee of the quarter! Jonathan is a Fire and Life Safety Assistant for EHS. He is from Tahlequah, OK, and is majoring in zoology. His favorite thing about OSU is the wide range of people from different backgrounds and places. If he could go anywhere on vacation he would visit New Zealand. Thanks for being on our team, Jonathan!
